Ensefalitis dengan status epileptikus: case report

Ensefalitis adalah suatu proses inflamasi pada parenkim otak yang biasanya merupakan suatu proses akut. Ensefalitis merupakan hasil dari inflamasi parenkim otak yang dapat menyebabkan disfungsi serebral. Status Epilepticus (SE) pada keadaan ensefalitis memiliki prognosis yang lebih buruk dibandingkan SE karena etiologilain. Jenis penelitian ini adalah laporan kasus. Laporan kasus ini cenderung memperhatikan permasalahan dan gambaran penatalaksanaanya, terhadap kasus yang ingin. Studi ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan surat uji etik yang dikeluarkan oleh UPT RSUD R.A.A Soewondo Pati No. 800/4192/013 pada tanggal 21 Desember 2023. Subjek dalam laporan kasus ini yaitu seorang seorang laki-laki usia 23 tahun dibawa keluarganya datang ke IGD dengan keluhan penurunan kesadaran. Alat pemeriksaan yang dilakukan yakni pemeriksaan fisik, pemeriksaan neurologis, dan pemerikaan penunjang laboratorium dan radiologi pada pasien. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil laporan kasus menunjukkan diagnosa status epilepticus. Pasien kemudian diberikan antikonvulsan fenitoin untuk kontrol kejang. Selain pengobatan SE itu sendiri, perlu juga dilakukan pengobatan terhadap penyebabnya, dalam hal ini mencakup antimicrobial. Idealnya, punksi lumbal harus dilakukan segera pada pasien yang diduga mengalami infeksi otak, dan pengobatan empiris segera dimulai setelahnya.
