Efforts to improve the economy will help improve people's welfare. One of the factors that influence the achievement of this welfare is the need for local community potential that is in accordance with the needs so that it can impact the community's economic independence. One of the potential natural resources of agricultural products is cassava. Mangunan Village cassava farmers sell for approximately Rp. 3000,- per kilogram. So that people prefer their crops to be given to livestock rather than sold. From this situation, the purpose of this community service is to conduct training to increase the economic capacity of cassava farmers by processing cassava into more attractive food preparations and analyzing the average price difference test. Activities carried out in the form of training on processing cassava into ready-to-eat food and testing the difference in average prices. The target for this service is a group of Saturday-Sunday market women in Mangunan Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The results of this service activity have been carried out smoothly and the community has high enthusiasm to be able to process cassava into frozen cassava. The selling price of cassava before being processed is Rp. 3,000.00 and after processing it makes a profit of Rp. 8,500.00 per kg. Seeing the results, it can be concluded that food processing training activities have been able to increase the value or selling price of cassava in Bantul.
